Pax Ivanna. flowers. February 27th , 2017.
In case you don't have enough time for gardening and nurturing plants, perennial flowers are the ideal choice. Perennials are often selected for large gardens. Based on the variety you have planted, they will bloom for a specific season every year. Hence, if you consider the mode of flowering, they resemble annuals. With so much variation in size, color, shape, and pattern, you can find many blooming perennial flowers well-suited for your landscape design.
As most of you roses lovers know, the battle with those naughty insects that plan to suck the energy out of your roses continues from spring before the first buds open, until later on in the summer, when the flowers are in full bloom. Insecticide is the solution for summer pests such as thrips and spider mites but the Japanese beetles must be handpicked. Don't dream - as I did - that if you use pesticide once, it will do for the rest of the summer! Unfortunately, you'll have to repeat the spraying as often as you'll need to. I've also tried the homemade pesticide with water and soap but well... in my case it didn't really work that well, so I had to use some more aggressive chemical. You need to check your plant for disease and treat it the right way if the case.
Hypanthium: The bulbous and green colored basal part of rose flower is known as hypanthium. This part of the flower is formed by the fusion of petals, sepals and stamens. A flat disk shaped structure present on top of hypanthium is the base of stamen.
You'll find these flowers in pale colors like white and yellows, and also in vibrant colors like maroon and red. They're perfect to be used as a border fence shrub.
