Group 2: Alberic Barbier, Albertine, New Dawn, Paul's Scarlet Climber, and Veilchenblau form Group 2. These differ from Group 1 only in the position of the new canes. In this case, the new canes grow half way up the old ones, not at ground level. The plant is pruned after flowering, by removing old wood, up to the new growth.
Although cutting propagation is not suitable for all rose varieties - miniature and climbing have the greatest success rate with this method - choosing the right stem for your cutting is an important step. Keep in mind a few characteristics your cutting should meet for best results:
Gladiolus: Gladiolus are available in pink, white, red, yellow, and some of them can be even multicolored. The best way to plant gladioli bulbs is in clusters in a spot where it receives plenty of sunshine.
This plant is a tall, elegant plant. It produces a long stem and one flower blooms on a single stem. They flower repeatedly, and are very easy to cut. This makes them one of the most popular cut flower types due to their long stems. There are about 60 petals in a large flower. The plant grows about 3 to 6 feet tall and one can produce flowers of every color. Most of them bloom in bi-colors and are moderately perfumed.
