There are some really hard ways to earn money, and there are some really easy ways to earn money. As for me, the easiest money I ever made was a particular niche site that I set up a while back. I’d missed out on an opportunity to buy a website that fits into my area of interest, and so slightly tailored the niche to be even more suitable for me. It took me about an hour to set up, and another hour or so to get all the content up and running… And guess what? It still earns me money!

I’ve made money easily a few other ways, but now I’ve found another method that I would so love to do if I had a smart phone. It’s called WeReward, and it’s a phone app available on iPhones and Androids, and should be available for BlackBerry soon. Basically, there are a lot of companies that have partnered with WeReward to do mobile marketing, and what happens is that different companies have different requirements. It’s a little like FourSquare, but instead of checking in, you take a picture of yourself with a product or in a particular establishment, send it in for approval, and earn points. You trade points in for actual money. Tons of companies are using WeRewards, like Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Jones Soda. It’s a quick and convenient way to earn cash if you’re the type that’s always going out for snacks or dinner or enjoy shopping and so on. The only thing that I’m not really keen on is that users are referred to as “oinkers”. I get the whole reference to a piggy bank thing, but really? They couldn’t find a more flattering term?
