Funny thing. My doctor has several offices which she travels between throughout the week. I actually forgot this.

She recently switched hospitals, and is now part of a hospital that is about 1/2 hour away from where I live- which is in the opposite direction from work. I hate driving that way. So I’ve been putting it off, and putting it off…

Finally, my prescription has just about run out and I have to get permission before it can be refilled. So I called. I had to set up an appointment. Nooooo.

Then the nurse who was setting up my appointment said, very appologetically, that my appointment would be at the other location. Where is this location? Oh- basically across the street from me? Um… gee… I dunno, isn’t across the street awfully far? I was so excited about how close this second office is, that it literally made my day. I’ve been really grumpy at work lately, and every time I ventured out of my office that day people were remarking about how cheerful I seemed. (One guy actually shouted “Oh my god, she’s smiling!”)

Funny how a little thing can change your whole mood.
