It’s funny, I never seem to like ladies watches, and I don’t give watches out as gifts. The ones that I want are always too expensive, and I tend to forget to put them on. And yet… I can’t help but drool over certain watches. For instance, I found this sweet Citizen Eco Drive watch. It’s a man’s, but it can change, if it has to, I guess. (If you don’t recognize that line then you obviously don’t appreciate great Canadian humor).

To be honest, I don’t know how I got that pic to show up, but apparently WordPress is making it super easy to insert pictures, because I didn’t try that! Beautiful though, isn’t it? And the coolest thing about these watches is that they don’t use regular batteries and they don’t need to be wound. The battery that they use absorbs sunlight and indoor light through the crystal and dial of the watch, and that’s what powers it. For five years. Talk about maintenance free!

This watch runs about $200. So, who’s gonna buy me one?
