Lori- I know, he’s such a good boy! And no, I really can’t stand the outlets. We usually take the back way in, so we avoid the worst of the traffic, but there’s no avoiding the crowds there. I actually live in Lancaster, so, yanno, you never appreciate anything that’s in your hometown.

Tell ya what, though, if you make it out to the outlets often, if you continue east past Jennie’s Diner to the Outhouse, pull in behind the Outhouse and check out Dieners (I think it’s called Dieners, anyway). It’s a smorgasbord of Pennsylvania Dutch food. It’s as close to home cooked as I’ve ever found. They even have excellent brown buttered noodles and eclair pudding, which are both family specialties on my dad’s side.

Nothing wrong with York! Live it up, girl. While you were out, did you stroll east to Lancaster outlets? Those are particularly nuts no matter when you go.
