I’ve finally joined the ranks of those tweeting their news in 140 characters or less. The problem is, now that I’ve joined- I can’t find anyone who’s announced their twitter IDs!
I did manage to find DebNG (I think I joined just after she did), Dana/Marley, Kohuether, Shoemoney, and a very nice lady from the WAHM boards that I don’t actually know (TX Writer).
I know some of you are on twitter- I just can’t find you! So, if you’re there, please add me http://twitter.com/wordvixen , or send me your Twitter ID so that I can follow you! Thank you.
On another… note. I’ve been listening to classical music for two weeks. It helps me to not kill people. But today I was grabbed by the need to listen to woodwinds- so I did a search on my station provider for “woodwind”. Only a handful of stations came up, and I picked the only one that looked promising. It’s mostly bassoon.
While it suited my needs this morning (need mellow- quiet, not really music music), some of the “music” sounds like farting. I’m serious. I just listened to 5 minutes of what sounds like a college guy’s good night out. I’m simply amused by that, and it’s more than 140 characters. So I posted here.

Oh so classic lines. Made me laugh out loud.
OMG- I never even pictured those lines as individuals… I absolutely need to hire you to scroll through everything I write, pick out the best lines, and show them to me so that I can include them in my novel!
I’m with CJ – those are fantastic lines.
And I’d be your friend on Twitter (or whatever it’s called) but I’m afraid of Twitter. I’m already on the computer enough.
*lol* Thanks!
I understand. I avoided it for a long time because of my time in Blogland. For some reason, the blogs I read have slowed in their posting, or I’ve begun speed reading… I seem to have extra time on my hands. I makes me feel like I’m forgetting something.
I need to check out twitter but I haven’t done so yet.
It took me a while to figure out, but it really is easy. Just, mini blog posts. DebNG actually posts that she’s going to bed or going to watch a movie as well as other stuff. Good way to broadcast when you’ve put up a new post.
I’m interested in the twitter, too. Shorter posts can help with regularity.
Wait a minute, that doesn’t sound right…
I, too, laughed out loud at the highlighted lines. Good stuff.
Britta- Twitter is pretty cool. Like a cross between a message board/forum, and blogging.
*snarf* What I wouldn’t give to see Metamucil use that in their next ad.
