I just visited this property today and live in Lancaster. I hope to begin researching this property for history and to study the interior architectural elements concerning wallpapers, fireplaces etc.
Since this is a registered historical property, I will be documenting as much as I can from the Historical Society here in Lancaster.
I have done all the research on my own home which was built by one of the candy barons of this area.
My interest in the Stauffer Mansion goes back to some antiques that were sold here at public auction back in 1974 that I need to research. The history of the mansion will provide more provenance on its original furnishings.
