I do not often post paid posts on this blog, and today I posted two. I fact, I believe these are the first two that I’ve posted in two or more months.
There are several reasons that I just posted these.
1. The money to writing/research was good.
2. I wanted to start getting back into the write for pay thing.
3. Several people have been let go from work in the past two weeks, there are rumors of more, our taxes got screwed up so we owe them money (and I’m not talking $20 here!), and our W-4s were messed up, so we’re now bringing home less than we did 2 years ago.
I hope you don’t all leave because of this, but since it’s my highest PR blog, I get the best offers on this one. I do hold out for good offers though, so don’t worry. Paid posts haven’t, and won’t take over this blog.

I totally understand – but be careful. I totally lost PR on both of my old blogs for posting “too much” paid stuff.
Most of us understand you gotta do what you gotta do.
Jersey- Don’t worry. PPP is the only paid to post site that this blog is registered with. They seem to have taken a real hit because of Goog’s algorithm, so there opps just aren’t there. Not that I like that, but it does keep me from inadvertantly over advertising.
