I do not often post paid posts on this blog, and today I posted two. I fact, I believe these are the first two that I’ve posted in two or more months.
There are several reasons that I just posted these.
1. The money to writing/research was good.
2. I wanted to start getting back into the write for pay thing.
3. Several people have been let go from work in the past two weeks, there are rumors of more, our taxes got screwed up so we owe them money (and I’m not talking $20 here!), and our W-4s were messed up, so we’re now bringing home less than we did 2 years ago.
I hope you don’t all leave because of this, but since it’s my highest PR blog, I get the best offers on this one. I do hold out for good offers though, so don’t worry. Paid posts haven’t, and won’t take over this blog.
Thanks for visiting me!

Here’s a genius idea! A website that gives you web hosting choice comparisons. Granted, I may be a little biased since their recommended choice is my favorite (hint: the logo is a scaly creature that eats a letter of the alphabet) host.
Here’s how it works. Simply type in the maximum price that you’re willing to spend, and the minimum features that you’re willing to take, and click the “Search for Hosts” button. Voila! Information at your finger tips!
And if you don’t know how much to spend, or what kind of bandwidth you’ll need, you can always navigate through the links on the left. Great information, easy to navigate, and quick to use.

I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather- a sore throat that was maybe one or two steps down from the pain of strep throat, weak muscles, and an imbalance in how I eat and drink. The sore throat contributed to my lack of liquids, and my confusion over dietary requirements and lack of energy to cook is causing trouble in the food department.
Plus, my passive income streams weren’t even a trickle for several weeks. Not even a drop.
However, my sore throat is mostly gone, I’ve had several purchases through both my BANS sites, and my Squidoo lenses. Technically, even the total amount isn’t enough for the average person to crack a smile for, but I’ve been waiting for a sign that my efforts weren’t a total waste.
Now that some of that stress is gone, and I’m feeling much better, I’m getting the itch to write again. Both freelance and fiction. This is good. I may be able to actually bring in some money soon. I’ll probably start scouring the bidding sites and contact my contact once I’ve seen all the episodes of The Tudors (they’re an hour long each, and there’s just enough to watch one a day until On Demand takes it off).
There’s another reason too, but that’s coming in the next non-sponsored post.
